PEO-GOV adopts a comprehensive approach to safeguarding our clients' interests, prioritizing the establishment of robust risk and safety programs, timely and precise preparation and filing of payroll taxes, ensuring the availability and suitability of insurances aligned with organizational risk, and implementing safety policies and programs tailored to meet operational needs.


Risk and Safety Management

Our basic services include a comprehensive risk and safety program which is appropriate for your business activities. We include:

Workers Compensation (W/C): Clients on our master policy enjoy lower rates for covered employees, management of claims, safety program development and oversight, and an ongoing training program. While client companies are responsible for enforcing safety practices and standards and providing sufficient information to properly classify its workers, under the co-employer relationship, PEO-GOV assumes responsibility for:

  • W/C premiums, reporting classifications, proper reporting of payroll for premium calculations, managing all filed claims.

  • Claims management by a licensed claims adjuster, including post-accident drug screening, communication with injured employees, administration of return to work and cost containment programs, and fraud investigations, as necessary.

  • Administration of a Drug-Free workplace program.

Safety and Training Program:
Our licensed loss control specialists evaluate our clients’ operations and work with you to develop a safety and training program appropriate for your business. We offer tailored safety manuals, onsite assistance to review safety conditions, training for supervisors and employees (including forklift operations training and certification as required by OSHA as applicable), HAZMAT training and certification, and training in CPR.

Contract Review for Insurance Compliance:
Our compliance professionals will review your contracts to assure your insurance coverage is appropriate for your operations. When additional or replacement coverage is needed, we can arrange for coverage, usually at a lower cost, on an over-and-above basis.


Payroll Tax Compliance

Accurate and timely filing of payroll related taxes, whether under a PEO or ASO arrangement. This includes completing and filing 940 and 941’s as well as employee W4 and W2 processing.


Compliance Support

Delivery of Services via Our CMMC Compliant Platform: PEO-GOV knows that the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirement applies to all aspects of our clients’ information technology (IT) systems, including outsourced services and platforms. We utilize a CMMC compliant secure platform to communicate and transfer sensitive data. Our services include 1 seat on our master license for your designated representative to use for uploading and downloading documents.

Legal: Our team is available to assist our clients with interpretation of standard business documents, including Non-Disclosure, Teaming and Subcontract Agreements. Additionally, as part of our co-employer arrangement, we work with clients to ensure your practices are compliant with the various state and federal regulations, including the Fair Labor Standards Act (FSLA), Title VII, Discrimination, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA). We deal with various employee-related issues including W/C, unemployment, and other employment-related claims.

Defense Base Act (DBA) Insurance:
PEO-GOV can arrange, on an over-and-above basis, for DBA insurance for client companies who require coverage for their personnel while they are deployed outside the United States. We work with our clients and the insurers to bind coverage appropriate to the locality and duration of contract needs.
